My friend filmed this playing golf the other day. It is a really impressive showing of this Goanna getting its prey.

The rabbit was and is an introduced pest to Australia. It ruins a lot of our native flora and has a devastating effect on our ecosystem. So while a little fluffy rabbit is sad getting taken. Ultimately, the Goanna is native to our country so this is a good result.

PS, my mate is certainly no David Attenborough

The video does come with a warning.

  • That was wild.
I'd hate for my food to still be scrambling around my belly, doing laps.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)
  • Mmm...
    rabbit!
My family just HAD to try rabbit
after seeing it as an ingredient on 'Chopped'
    a year or 2 ago.
Pretty good, though nothing to write home about.
We'll give it another go soon.
    Thanx for sharing!
    Cheers.
'Cause you don't give blood and take it back again.
