oh man....Given To Fly and Help Help were insane....

ed kept swapping the "he" to she in given to fly but sometimes used "he" and the whole meaning of the song changed....

"a wave came crashing like a fist to the jaw
delivered him wings hey look at me now
arms wide open with the sea as her floor
oh..."

what imagery those lines now have...
man it was amazing cause u can hear the crowd really applause during the lead in to the second verse....

and Help Help was fanatastic.....the ending fits really well...if ed doesnt fuck up too much with the words..."I have no enemies...so dont speak to me"

During "Not For You" the crowd started clapping to the silent bit during the quiet section before "all thats sacred.." and ed gives this little laugh and then NAILS that bit....

They seemed really alive and dedicated Black to someone eddie lost a bet to and a SOLAT was dedicated to a girl....

man some real gems going thru 2003 shows going thru them one by one

    this was actually my first pj show.

    poor old ed and the adelaide crowd.. just wouldnt give him any love during give peace a chance. the band were in a great mood that night though after the anti war protests during the day.

    ritfw was unexpected as jeff had already walked off after YL.

    but the crowd made up for it in 2006 with one of the best efforts of the australian tour (with brisbane night 1) :)
    Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

    Ive been listening to the 2006 adel boot for weeks now..........
    Must dig out the 2003 now...
    Especially is GTF is that good........

    but 2003 has nothing on the 2 night stand of 2006.
    Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

    I'm getting quite sick of GTF. It's being destroyed for me just like Corduroy was on the 2000 tour. Hopefully GTF can bounce back into my good books a little bit quicker than Corduroy did (couldn't listen to that song for the best part of 4 years)

    I dont think I could ever get sick of that song.....
    Evenflow is a bit like corduroy for me....
    GTF always makes me so happy when I listen to it..

    Im really enjoying the sound on the 2006 bootleg not sure which one it is..
    Its the one with lyrics about catching waves and getting laid

    3-4 years Ive been on this board....asked 10,000 people about this sorta stuff and I STILL aint see or cannot get me hands on one of these. It does my head in.
