Question: Why do you need a weapon that is capable of keeping a small police force at bay?
I mean... are people planning on barricading themselves and their families in their homes?
Who or what are they protecting their families from?
...
These are legitimate questions that I would like to know so I have a better understanding of the view point that is opposite of mine.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

they think that they are "free"....but with a government that has those tools and is willing to use them on their own people, you are not free. you are a victim.

neither did about a million lines of coke all over the world. and thousands of needles full of heroin. should we make those readily available to the public too?

and what constitutional amendments intending to allow people to smoke pot in peace keep these hard drugs in the hands of the "responsible drug user" because it's "in the constitution"? :fp:
I don't know where you live, but there are NO laws where I'm from that allow anyone to have those in their possession, much less go out and buy them in a store with no background check or mental health exam.Gimli 1993

If people think that a rack of AR-15 (even if illegally modified to full auto capabilities) is going to stop the U.S. Military... they are dreaming. They will need something to stop an GBU-28 dropped from the belly of an F-15E at 10,000 feet... and an AR-15 ain't gonna cut it. Look at what they did at Waco, TX... and all they needed was a bulldozer with a boom attachment to level the place.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

just because there are laws against the use of drugs does not stop the law breakers from getting drugs.....and they are available if you know where to go......“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” Abraham Lincoln0 -

Ummmm... so, are you saying that if guns were illegal... they would still be available?
If so... who would be selling those guns? And more importantly, who would be buying them? I mean, wouldn't people like Ted Nugent STILL be buying guns if they were illegal?Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!
