I absolutely love Glen Hansard's solo album. Which of his bands should I start with? Which album do you recommend? Thanks!

    Frames are better, thus they have more material.

    For Frames I'd go:

    The cost (full band version of falling slowly on this one).
    Fitzcarraldo
    Burn the maps

    If you want a live dose:
    Setlist is good for that.

    With Swell Season:
    I'd get "swell season" (self titled) fantastic album.
    an acoustic version of "falling slowly" is on here.
    "Strict Joy" is ok, but not as good as self titled, but the 2 disc version has some live stuff on it.
