    Charlotte Rae is still alive, but she left the show early on when she got her own spin-off, The Facts Of Life.

    To be honest, I had no idea Conrad Bain was still alive. I figured him long dead. He looked pretty old on the show, and that was 70's and 80's. And I haven't seen him on ANYTHING since Diff'rent Strokes.

    i think he did some voice over work for GTA Vice City, but thats about it.

    I got the first season of
    "Diff'rent Strokes"
    on DVD a while back.
    It doesn't hold up as well as I thought.
