Songs for Slim (Replacements related)

The Replacements (really just Paul and Tommy) recorded an ep, of which only 250 are being released. All of them are being auctioned to benefit Slim Dunlop, the 'Mats guitar player on the last few albums...he suffered a massive stroke in February 2012.

Each ep is signed by Paul, Tommy and Chris Mars (he didn't perform on the new songs, but I am glad he is involved in the project).

    Glad to see they are raising a bunch of dough for Slim!

    The ebay bidding is overwhelming because there are 250 auctions, all ending within 12 hour of eachother.

    I think you may be wrong about Chris. Chris was the first to do this for Slim, he recorded Radio Hook Word Hit and released it online to raise money awhile ago, if i remember right. That track is released on the Songs for Slim ep. That one is Chris solo, the other 4 tracks are Paul and Tommy.

    MAn I gotta check this out...I love these guys actually. Would have had no idea, but I think the prices might be out of my range, ha

    its getting a commercial release in april and a digital release in march??

    and i was mistaken, Chris' song for Slim was a different track then whats on this release and is still up on his site.
