Greike has a broken colorbone...Quentin's a little bitch and shouldn't play until greinke does...what a suckass
Well that will never happen. Quentin and Greinke have a history dating back to their days in the AL Central with the Royals and White Sox. Also, Greinke said something to Quentin when he was staring him down and then Quentin charged. Either way, I love a good baseball brawl!

Didn't hit him earlier in the game, but he has hit him a few times in the past. Also, not a bright move to lower your shoulder when Quentin is charging at you....he's a big dude.
So if Quentin got hurt in the fight, should Greinke not be able to play until Quentin is healthy?

Why on earth would Greinke throw at him intentionally in that situation?
Look at Greinke, his head is up and looking at Quentin the entire time. If the pitch slipped then he would show some sign of disgust but he never takes his eyes off him and then says something. I agree it would be stupid for Greinke to do that in that situation but people do stupid things.

Yeah that's almost like saying if Grienke broke Quentin's hand with a pitch and he missed the rest of the season than Greinke should be forced to miss the rest of the season as well. This is Greinkes fault, he was yapping at him afterwards and no idea why he dropped his shoulder but look for another brawl next week. :corn:
oh shut the fuck up
I guess your a Dodgers fan? It's not eye for an eye. They're all big boys. Maybe this should be blamed on the catcher for not getting in between immediately.

Dude's got 40 pounds on him. What do you want him to do? Not really a fair fight.

Depends on who the players were. If any front line starter broke his collar bone after a bullshit mound charging, clearly yes.
I just wish Harper charged the mound and beat the piss out of Hamels when he plunked him.
Greinke should've kept his mouth shut instead of yapping at him when he was headed to first.
Probably but no one knows what he said.
agree, if it was joe shmoe in a KC vs. Hou. game no one would care.
Quentin should get a little longer suspension than normal (maybe 9 games) but people talking about the 2-3 months that Greinke is going to be out is absurd to me. and you don't want to set a precedent of a player getting supsended for as long as another player is out.
Hamels would've suplexed Harper.

I am pretty certain it would be getting a bit of press if it were James Shields. It's news if any expected contender loses a big pitcher in a fight.
Shit, it would all over the place if Lee broke his collarbone in a fight and the Phillies aren't even a contender
This guy?
The catcher could've and should've stopped it. What the hell was he doing?
I dunno what the standard is for charging that mound, but the suspension shouldn't be much more than that just b/c Greinke picked a bad fight.
Donnie Baseball sounds like a douche for even mentioning a game for game suspension.
Perhaps the catcher didn't get involved because it was a mistake and nothing was going to come of it.
No one knows what Greinke said.
'This boats not safe
And we're drowning.'
