Pearl Jam makes me feel understood in a world I feel so often doesn't understand me...
It helps me get angry when I can't express my anger.
It helps me appreciate things when I feel like I can't appreciate anything at all
It pumps me up when i need an upper

So many ways this band has helped me through stages throughout my life.. Ever since I discovered them at 12 years old...

I actually used the lyrics from The End to tell my now ex husband what I was feeling when we were at a crossroads because I couldn't find the words myself...

Corduroy when I was seeking independence from an old relationship, favourite line: I'd rather starve than eat your bread...

Unthought Known made me feel inspired to take control of my life and seek renewal...

I know I am generalizing and glossing but it's what I am thinking tonight..
