guess it depends on why it fell off, but any way you slice it, can't be good

I've lost a few nails due to running. they grow back eventually but you need to keep that area clean and fungus free until then. If it fell off because of a fungal issue then well- you already failed and it may not grow back.

I think I saw a movie where this happened once.
You may grow scales, fur, or claws next. Just keep an eye on it.

Probably not great if it just fell.off spontaneously. :shock: Your fucking teeth or hair could be next! You haven't had a fly trapped with you in a teleportation pod lately, have you?

If it came off because of an injury, no biggie. You might have a deformed toenail forever once it grows back, but other than that, I wouldn't worry.

Used to take a lot of pucks to the feet playing hockey. I catch playing baseball, take some foul tips from time to time. Haven't played ball since September and I haven't played hockey this winter.

Basicly fell off for no reason, hopefully just wear and tear over the years.

Basicly fell off for no reason, hopefully just wear and tear over the years.

I used to tend goal and catch too...my nails are still holding strong.

Did it fall off on it's own? Do you have brittle, thin nails?
If so, it could be a sign a of either a mineral deficiency or a metabolic disorder.

I got into a hacky-sack accident last year, believe it or not.

My nail came off a couple days later... it still hasn't grown all the way back

As I'm sure many were concerned with my toe nail falling off for no reason, left foot big toe. It seems to be coming in somewhat normal. The bleeding stopped shortly after the nail fell off, any dead skin has been removed.

Once again toenail seems to be coming in just fine.

I have the yellow fungus on my big right toe.
My nail is really thick and yellow. I have to use two hands on the clippers to trim that sucker.
