Hey folks-
Talenthouse, a website for musicians, photographers, designers, and artists of all types to express themselves and collaborate on projects, is currently running a campaign to select photographers for the upcoming Soundgarden shows in January and February. The winners will be the official photographers for the show they select upon submitting their entry (an original photograph of a live music performance) and will also receive a set of tour posters from the tour. I have submitted a photo I took last year of Mike Watt in Las Vegas. If you'd like to view it and support my entry, at the below link, I'd sure appreciate it! If you're a photographer yourself, I'd encourage you to submit your work also. Submission if from now until 1/13, and voting is from 1/13 until 1/20. THANKS!

    Which show are you applying for? I'm also going to apply. Submitting for LA but I'm sure there will be professional photogs that will also submit and I'm pretty much a novice with a point-and-shoot although I did just upgrade to a better camera. Trying to decipher which shot I want to submit.

    When I submitted my photo, and it asked me which show, it only said "Los Angeles 3x", so I think we're only given the option of the city, and the specific date may be at their discretion.

    My "option" showed NYCx2 by default, but it was a pull down menu so I clicked on it to see the other choices.

    Well, maybe we can help support each other and both be chosen for LA. I've submitted I recent shot I took at the RHCP NYE show in Vegas and would be truly appreciative of everyone's support. Is anyone else submitting for other cities? Let's see if we can help each other out! :D

    I've submitted my entry for the Vancouver show.

    Would greatly appreciate your support by voting for my entry :D Voting starts 1/13/13.

    It would be a dream come true to have the opportunity to take photos of Soundgarden up close & personal!

    Does anyone know how the voting works, can you vote more than once?
