Now this guy is a proper artist. Not a word from him for 10 years and then releases a new single and announces an album out of the blue.

I love Bowie.... Great news for music in general he is back... music needs him!
I certainly won't complain for what we haven't got(1st in 10yrs) cause I've been on board with his music for over 30years. It's been a really great ride being a fan of his. I really had given up all hope that there would be new music from David and BOOM there it is! Really wish he'd tour one more time, not for me particularly, but for the new fans who don't know.

Good vibes, indeed, for both of us. Judging by how many great tours already lined up for 2013, we could be in luck.
BTW I believe today is his birthday....so Happy Happy Birthday DB

iTunes isn't Linux-friendly, so I'll have to wait for a rip of the stream, or for the proper release before I hear it.
Hey, did you see this?

That would be amazing. And if Iman is pulling my chain, well...I don't need another reason to dislike her.
Side note: LOVING The Next Day! I was worried because I pretty much hated Reality, and that's hard for me to say. TND is definitely reminiscent of the Berlin Trilogy. It reminds me of Lodger, with hints of Scary Monsters.
It's growing up just like me.

I was just thinking how cool it is to see Bowie hooked up with Tony Visconti again. Very cool!
Low, Heroes, Lodger, Scary Monsters, and Stage alone are an incredible run. Great stuff! I'd love to see Bowie work with and or all of these guys again too-- Brian Eno , Carlos Alomar, Adrina Below, Robert Fripp .
