We have the left rail....and the right rail...and they NEED to remain parallel in order for the trains wheels to remain on them. If they go out of kilter just a little bit, the train will de-rail! I would love to think we could keep the train on the tracks at all times for a safe travel to its next destination.

ALL ABOOAARRDD!!!!!

  • Sometimes when walking "The Trains Tracks" I see miles ahead, into the distance seems forever of a hike. Love it when the sun sets directly above them.....and the sky is pink, trees are green, and the sound of nature in the wind! Nothing like taking all the things of life in.....on the Trains Tracks. When a train would come by....I would throw my basketball at it as hard as I could. If a slow train would come....I would do my best to hop on it. I would lay a quarter or a penny on the track and wait for the train to come by. I even laid down on the tracks and put my neck right on the left rail. We always had fun on the tracks.....and when we turned 19....we went to a bar called "Jacks by the Tracks" and we would drink beer and shots. Most trains unlinked their Caboose's during the 80's....but many of those Caboose's remained in the train yards. Heck! One guy bought a Caboose and turned it into a diner! What a guy!

Pretty cool TV show called Hell on Wheels is all about laying the train tracks to the west coast of the USA back in the 1880s.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

We have a thread about people coming back together here after debating topics during the week. Please use that one. It's supposed to be for decompressing and remaining friends here after possibly heated discussions on any side or any side of any aisle. Thanks.
