That would have been the worst loss in Philadelphia history if we had blown that.  That was uhhh interesting.
The sack killed the Rams. That said, Sirianni’s decision to throw on 2nd and 4 might have gone down as the worst play call in hisory had your boys lost.

Jalen Carter is the best tackle in football. That sack saved the game.

I didn’t mind throwing there.  Best time to throw in that situation is 2nd down.  The play call that was dumb was the safety.  Hurts couldn’t move at that point have to hand that one off.

It is crazy how much heat Hurts and Sirianni take yet they just win games

But Saquon averaged 8 yards per carry and had just picked up 6. They couldn’t stop him all day. That’s my “take,”

Weather doesn't look to be an issue next week. I need the coaches not to get out coached, because they should absolutely smoke this team next week.

Doesn’t better weather help the team with the qb who just threw for 300 yards all over the place vs the team who’s qb has never thrown 150 in a playoff game and has the best runner in the game?

Not saying it will make a difference without it, but if there was bad weather the game would be over before it started

Wait what lol you think Hurts has never thrown for more than 150 yards in a playoff game? I can't even follow this

Wins, my bad. But sorry, he’s gotten to 154

All I’m saying is the eagles can muck it out better than Washington so weather wouldn’t even give them a chance

What in God's name are you blathering on about. Barring that dumb fumble he played the game of his life in the Super Bowl and put up 300 yards.

My point is the weather changes everything, but bad coaching can happen in bad weather or not. And I'm saying with decent weather I would like to see the receivers so their job as well. And what I'm saying is this team dominated DC for 6 of 8 quarters but had a stupid loss at the end.

But, at the same time this is Philadelphia, and this loss would be worse than the Phils losing to the Mets and Eagle vs. Bucs/Panthers combined goddamnit.

Edit: seeing you're talking wins. i don't even know where I am right now.

Jesus dude…take the butt plug out.

I said the eagles would win a tough ground game and the only way Washington has a chance is if it’s wide open, like yesterday. Given that you know, the only playoff games they have won with hurts haven’t been big passing games

Yup would be better if he threw for 254 yards and loss like the probably MVP just did.  Again the Hate Hurts and Sirianni get for winning is crazy.  But Matthew Stafford threw for 324 yards and McVay is boy wonder who has never beaten Sirianni. To my quote one of my favorite movies “you’d rather look good and lose”.

And doesn’t his running matter?  Everyone praises Jackson and Allen when they make plays running but Hurts’ get dismissed.  Yea that long td to start the game was pretty damn good

Well I don't know how I get that from that first paragraph. And I won't take the butt plug out thank you very much.

Anyway, this is a hail mary but if anyone is selling Tix for this game for exactly $500/tic and have at least 4 of them then I'm your man.

I’m ready for an ordinary weather game after that although I’d say the snow overall hurt them more than us.

That’s a dumb cherry picked stat about Hurts. And he had a few big plays get dropped or called back. I’m never gonna complain about winning a (checks notes) Divisional Playoff Game.

So for the Cowboys fans…. They always say their rival is Washington. Basically it’s a taunt to Eagles fans. Anyway time to put up or shut up: who are you rooting against this week?

    correct me if I’m wrong…

I’ve always felt the cowboys are more in eagles fans heads than vice versa.

it’s like…..and I hate to admit this, but it’s true….the dodgers are more in giants fans heads than vice versa.

lol I very much appreciate the backhanded compliment to yourself in this one, wob.

Anyway, I'd say yes but it has nothing to do with the Cowboys fans at large - it's everything to do with Dallas fans from Philly. I've always considered the Giants the team/fans I find the rivalry with over any other team.

The whole Washington/Dallas rivalry has always been incredibly stupid to me, especially since it's based on how good teams were 35+ years ago (not to mention it's really the idea of 'Cowboys vs. Indians' lol)

At this point it's just fun to dance on Dallas's grave over and over again because of how much of a joke they are, as opposed to what the owner perceives them to be due to what they won 30+ years ago.

I made a work-friendly Philly sports quiz (I'd expect all of you to get 33/33 on this).

    1.        What Philadelphia American League baseball team won the 1910, 1911, 1913, 1929 and 1930 World Series, before moving out west in the 1950s?

    2.        In what baseball stadium did the Eagles beat the Chicago Cardinals 7-0 in a blizzard to win the 1948 NFL Championship Game?

    3.        What was the nickname of the youthful 1950 National League Champion Phillies?

    4.        What college did Tom Gola play for, who won the 1954 NCAA Basketball Championship?

    5.        What offense and defense playing and concrete selling Eagle made the game saving tackle to win the 1960 NFL Championship over Vince Lombardi’s Green Bay Packers? (just first name is ok)

    6.        Which rival has beaten the 76ers franchise 15 times in the NBA playoffs?

    7.        What was the “mean” nickname for the 1970s Flyers?

    8.        What international team (not Canadian) did the Flyers beat in January 1976 at The Spectrum? (just name the country)

    9.        Where did Rocky take Adrian for their first date?

    10.   What part of Apollo Creed’s body did Rocky primarily attack in their first fight?

    11.   What Ivy League college basketball team went to the 1979 NCAA Final Four?

    12.   Who was the winning pitcher for the Phillies in Game 6 of the 1980 World Series?

    13.   What rebounding machine was the NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP for the 1982-83 World Champion 76ers?

    14.   What college basketball team beat Georgetown to win the 1985 NCAA Championship?

    15.   What Canadian team with Wayne Gretzky beat the Flyers twice in the Stanley Cup Finals – 1985 and 1987?

    16.   What’s the name of the Soviet boxer who (spoiler alert!) killed Apollo Creed and (won’t spoil it) fought against Rocky Balboa in Rocky IV?

    17.   What college did Mark Macon play basketball for? They went 32-2 in 1987-88.

    18.   What’s the last name of twin brother football players: One played running back for the Giants and was on The Today Show. The other played for the Buccaneers and returned an interception for a touchdown in the last Eagles game at Veterans Stadium.

    19.   What college basketball team had Jameer Nelson and Delonte West and went 30-2 in the 2003-04 season?

    20.   What Philly (not a filly) horse just missed the Triple Crown in 2004?

    21.   What superstar singer/songwriter sang the National Anthem in Game 3 of the 2008 World Series?

    22.   What Phillie tied the World Series record with 5 home runs against the New York Yankees in the 2009 World Series? He also made a great deke and threw out a Tampa Bay Ray at home in the 2008 World Series.

    23.   What team did Vince Papale’s girlfriend/wife root for (not accurate to real life) in the movie Invincible?

    24.   What kid-inappropriate TV show about a bar had a character who wrote letters to Chase Utley that sounded like a kid wrote them?

    25.   What Phillies first baseman had the same name as a character from The Office and appeared on the show?

    26.   What street-illegal vehicle was featured in the movie Creed?

    27.   What college football team did Hassan Reddick (1 ½ sacks) and Tyler Matakevich (3 sacks) play for that beat Penn St. 27-10 in 2015?

    28.   What did Pat Solitano (Bradley Cooper) order at Llanerch Diner in Silver Linings Playbook?

    29.   Who caught the game-winning touchdown for the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII (2017-2018 season)? He now plays for the Washington Commanders. ☹

    30.   What TV show about a Philadelphia public school did Jalen Hurts, Jason Kelce and Brandon Graham appear in?

    31.   What was Stanley Beren’s (Adam Sandler) job for the 76ers in the Netflix movie Hustle?

    32.   What’s the name of the podcast that Jason Kelce does with his little brother?

    33.   What’s the name of the podcast that Kylie Kelce does?

when/what did I bluff? I’ve never been “Go Philly” but I have always enjoyed youse guyses ridicule of the current Giants. I don’t hate the eagles but I don’t root for them, unless maybe they were playing the Brady patriots.
