  • I hope the Niners enjoy their parade this week.

That loss was basically expected. I don't think any team in the NFL could win every game of this brutal gauntlet we're still currently in the midst of. And now we have another team on 10 days rest. Jesus. lol.

We need Shaq Leonard. He's not the guy he was a couple years ago but he's better than the slop LB's we were stuck with yesterday. Getting Cunningham back would be lovely too. He's played well this year.

10-2. Let's take care of business next week and lock up that 1 seed. The sky still is not falling, folks.

    Go Birds.

You keep saying the Niners are enjoying their parade this week…I hope the Eagles are still enjoying celebrating their second place finish from a year ago. The Niners have bigger expectations than that.

The sky is falling for the Eagles, actually. They have a Swiss cheese defense and aren’t wining anything this year. Shaq Leonard can’t save them.
And if you can show me anywhere in this thread or anywhere else people celebrating a second place finish I will give you a dollar. A whole dollar!

The 4 stars attached to the title suggest otherwise. Feel pretty strongly about this. I’m willing to split the difference and accept 50 cents in a show of good faith.

How do you explain the 6 stars in the Sixers thread then, professor?

Also, one final question: how long do you think you will continue to crow about your December Super Bowl title?

I was only going to crow for 24 hours, which I think is what the book of etiquette considers proper, but since I was called a dummy for stating the Niners would work the Eagles (with zero acknowledgment I was correct) and you with this December parade thing, I think I’ll come back to crow after the Cowboys work the Eagles on Sunday.

Please don’t give up on the season through, there is always a chance the Niners lose all the quarterbacks on their roster once more and the Eagles can make the Super Bowl by default again.

Beating the Eagles in December is, understandably, a huge moment in the life of young mookie. He just cannot stay away from this all important thread. Clearly makes up for getting blown out in the NFC Championship game.

    Enjoy the parade!

So this week is the big one. Win and we waltz to the 1 seed. Lose and we got some work to do. Beating them twice, especially with them on 10 days rest and not having to travel for like a month, is definitely a tall order. This schedule has just been brutal.

I'm assuming Goedert will be back.

Hopefully Sunday was the wake up call this team needed.

  • One positive is the offensive line played well. Hurts couldn't figure out where to throw the ball and Brian Johnson refused to hand the ball to DeAndre Swift. Those problems should be fixable especially with Goedert returning (and Ertz coming back???).

The defense, yeah that's another story. I mean they held up decently at KC but obviously they helped us a few times. Bottom line if you can't tackle you're gonna get lit up. Giving credit to the little tike who was posting here - get "worked".

They need to run the ball better though. Part of that is on the line but also Hurts being a little slower due to that nagging injury has hampered the rpo's effectiveness this year.

  • The Eagles are going to get so fucking worked next weekend in their own house.
Lol. They'd still be the 1 seed. Does that make you feel sad?
    No, it doesn’t. Lol.
  • He out his hand up while the player was attacking him. After he went WWF on Devonte Smith. Bush league. No way in hell the Eagles are doing anything to Dom. Somehow the Forty Whiners are at it again.
Trigger warning: The fat security guard should be the least of the Eagles worries tonight. By this time next week they’ll be the number 5 seed. Last weekend was the apex of their season. #truth.

The WPR is changing.SF still #1. dallas, philly and detroit are moving. philly’s remaining schedule is soft like charmin and dallas’ is tough, so W-L may not tell the whole story. I am loathe to do so, but baltimore and miami are probably 4 and 5.

The Eagles have a point differential of +21.

The Saints have a point differential of +24.

    Cowboys +188
    SF +175
    Baltimore +143
    Miami +118

Last years Eagles team had a point differential of +133

The math is in front of you Eagles fans. Trust the data, it’s objective.
  • What's your point son? Are we supposed to quit being fans or something?

Things are never as good or bad as they seem. Obviously there is a lot the Birds need to iron out but I don't know there are many, if any, teams who would've gone 4-2 in that 6 game stretch.

The Reggie 30 for 30 premiered last night. Anyone see it yet? I got about 15 minutes left. Really well done. Love seeing all the old footage.

I hate this little feeling inside me that tells me if he were still alive he'd be a maga supporter. He seemed to be drifting further and further down the religious freak route towards the end. I think the last part of the show deals with that stuff actually...

21 sacks in 12 games is just one of the most incredible stats in this history of sports.

Also noticed in his first few practices after joining the team he was wearing the old pants instead of the updated kelly green/silver ones that came out in '85.

    Ah, this is cute.

I wonder if mookie ever imagined being this obsessed with the Philadelphia Eagles prior to his team getting their asses handed to them in the NFC Championship game.

Congrats, again, on your December Super Bowl victory. It clearly means a lot.
