Not going to get too deep in this convo. The important thing is to figure out how to stop Mr. Boyfriend from wrecking our mediocre secondary.

Just watch the tape of the Broncos neutralizing him.  Miami did a pretty good job as well.  The time he really got loose was on the Chargers.  Absolutely brain dead game plan by Brandon Staley.

Will do and I'll present my findings to Mr. Desai. ;)

So, I'm pretty much finding myself still reading The Athletic. Seems like the allphly articles aren't as good and their podcasts have just so many damn ads, and sometimes they are just reaching for stuff to talk about. Pretty disappointed so far.

Yeah, I'm willing to give them more time. I see Gelb just wrote another article re: the Nola signing, but I thought he was leaving once the season was over. The Phils podcast is basically trash until they get actual Phils people on there. I basically got renewed on my Athletic sub right before the Eagles change, so I'm in till August regardless. But I don't think I'll renew after that.

The "diehard" articles have just started (Wolf/Berman/Neubeck; I have a free trial via Bodner's newsletter) but if the articles don't become more consistent and regular - and doesn't start to include Bodner/Hoffman/Gelb not coming on - then I'm not converting. All the other stuff I don't care about. I like pods, but I don't think there's a need to do dailys. I'm assuming that's just because of the ad revenue. I'm realizing I think the worst part of the PHLY operations is Gargano oversees/is involved way too much.

Weird feeling other than being an absolute homer, but I think Birds win tonight.

I was trying to count the weeks and I started with us at 9-1, so I clearly jinxed it. Damn that Lions comeback - they are right there. Crazy.

Lions comeback was nuts.  They have not had this record since JFK was in office and they have only won 1 playoff game since any of us have been alive.   They will f it up in the playoffs.

I think Chefs win tonight but I'll likely pull for Birds....I don't like the idea of rooting against Mrs FMe for a big game we will watch together unless I am an actual fan of the other team.

Plus, the damn Chiefs need to NOT go to Superb Owl if anyone else is to win it.  ;)

Gonna be a big game tonight!

I still am not used to being "the hated" when it comes to being the most successful team over the past few years.

I'm on the fence on this game.  My gut tells me the Eagles will win because they have an axe to grind after the way the Super Bowl ended.  if there is an area you can attack the Chiefs D, it's running the ball.  Plus, if there's a time to face KC's offense, it's now.  The Philly D line could have a night, however when you give Reid an extra week to prepare scheming around a stout pass rush that's typically in favor of KC.

That's what I meant in regard to hate.  I spent so many years being disgusted at the Broncos. Steelers and Patriots success I never thought I would ever see the day the franchise would be where it is now.

Mostly the Chiefs are likeable enough (thanks Obama) except Mahomes constant whining for penalties (which of course works :D ).

It’s not like the Chiefs offense is running away with this.  If they only get 3 out of this possession I feel like Hurts will take it back down and get the lead.

You’re a good sport. Chiefs blew it with those red zone TO’s. The scanlin drop… we’d have had time to come back. The TK fumble to me was the big play.

Somewhere in the 3rd quarter I was thinking - they should’ve put us away by now.

iggles remain #1 in the WPR. chiefs drop. I might have five NFC teams in the top five.

I haven’t been sold on the chiefs all year, but who else is gonna win the AFC? I guess that’s why they play the games.
