Welp, we're back in first place in the NFC, and our defense's best performance was against the league's best offense. Go Birds.
And we just added one of the better safeties in the league.
And the offense still has not played to their potential.
And Howie may not necessarily be done.
Are the Tennessee Titans something like the KC A's to the 1950s Yankees?
I’m not picking up on your analogy…
I think, and Johnny-correct me if I wrong, but Mr. Aburzzo is saying the Titans are basically the Eagles' farm system.

Yeah you got it Signor Juggs. AJ Brown is like getting Roger Maris, for example.

  • Ron Rivera looks so lost out there on the sideline. Pretty sure the coordinators and assistants do all the real work, and when it's time for a head coach decision he's just not quite with it. Not challenging the Devonta Smith play, using a timeout before going for it on 4th down, not going for 2 when they scored the TD with 1 minute left. He's just lost.

He's one of those huh? Yeah he's the DC I think. Still a totally toxic organization.

Q&A pod absolutely shredded James Bradberry. Guy needs to get his shit together.

  • Down on page 2 for Dallas week?!?

Anyway, if we win, we go to 8-1. Every Eagles team that's had 1 loss through 9 games (nobody went 9-0) won the NFL/NFC Championship. Every Eagles team with 2 or more losses through 9 games didn't.

Some of the infamous 7-2 teams:
    • 1981: They were 7-1 and lost to Dallas in Week 9. They lost the Wild Card Game at home.
    • 1994: Lost their last 7 games (buh bye Rich Kotite)
    • 1996: After the crazy 31-21 win in Dallas, they lost their next 3 games and got shut out by SF in the Wild Card.
    • 2014: Faded and missed the playoffs at 10-6. Around this time the league figured out every play the Chip Kelly offense was calling.
Not a big game at all. Just stop turning the damn ball over guys!

If you had a different QB and Head Coach you would be a super bowl contender, for sure.

You finished that bottle didn't you?
  • 3rd & 7. Dallas has one timeout. You throw to Brown. Or Smith. It’s incomplete. You punt. Dallas still has one timeout. SO THE FUCK WHAT. Just horrible play calling.

Perfect win. Philadelphians can still complain. 13 wins gets the 1 seed.

Now that Bryce has strolled into the game with Birds stuff on I think we can easily forget about Trout and give those Xfinity endzone seats to Mr. Harper.
