Seems like the tech douches that have ruined that city. But regardless, I'm looking forward to it. Doing Escape from Alcatraz, and hopefully catch a game at the ballpark.

SF used to be one of my favorite cities.
Don't much like it now.  Far too overcrowded and douchelorded up.  Like they want to be NYC2

Still....some amazing food and some stunning sights.

I love SF but, OMG, they have problems….

was waiting in line for a Giants game and some native was ranting to me how the liberals have ruined the city…”they want to ban plastic straws while they give free needles to junkies”….now, the two things have absolutely nothing to do with each other but he kinda had a point….I guess.

I always say there’s two classes in the city….uber rich or homeless….doesn’t seem to be much in between.
If I had known then what I know now...

Occidental cigar bar is awesome. Small spot that has a good whiskey selection, always good people and will often have wines from tiny vineyards owned by people that go there. Looove that place

Only been to the ballpark once but saw Halladay and lincecum. Think it was a bit of a dud of a matchup

Will be swimming from Alcatraz to Marina Green, so we'll see, haha.

I hear good things about these fries.

I will not be smoking any cigars.

Not a fan of paper straws, but a huge fan of free needles for those who need them.

One of my arguments in debate way back in 1991 or 92 was for free needles in parks.
Cant believe some people are still against this

  • It’s really not a troll.  I honestly don’t like trolling but do like wishing the other side good luck.  I’m hoping Mahomes won’t be a sitting duck with the Eagles defensive line and the Chiefs weaknesses at left and right tackle.

Ya see, this is what I'm talking about, not to beat a dead horse (er, arm), but I mean c'mooonnn.:

Also, met some Media friends at their Eagles pep rally (I will not call it a parade, even though that's very much what it was). Hated the whole thing, bad vibes all around.

Literally no one in that organization acknowledges that the coaching played a major role in getting their QB injured. It's not like it was a cheap shot after the play (like what happened to us in the 2003 NFC Championship Game and the 2019 Wild Card Game). They ran literally the same play that they ran all year and made no adjustments, which is totally disrespectful to a vaunted defense, and failed to even try to block one of the league's top edge rushers. Also they chose not to roster 3 QB's.

Watch they will make some stupid rule about hitting the QB's arm next year. Like the loser Mets getting baseball to ruin double play takeout slides because they couldn't stop whining about Chase Utley.

Ha....I kind of remember a similar sentiment coming from Saints players in '17...and they didn't even advance to play us.

Anyway, it's Monday. Of Super Bowl Week. That the Eagles are playing in.

I've already begun to have the shakes.

@Glorified KC come to South Philly to watch the game. There's a Chiefs bar and everything.

    This weekend we rock Portland
  • My buddy (Giants fan, but this is not relevant) invited us over to his house at Broad & Bainbridge. What is the minimum age for kids to safely congregate in that area after a potential happening of the team from our city scoring more points than the other team?

In this completely hypothetical situation that relies on a lot of other things happening:  I'm honestly of the stance of any age. If my kids could be up at that time without being monsters I would absolutely bring them.

Your kids aren't young young like mine right? Seems like I always see like ages of 8-12 or something? I can't think of a better age to take it all in. I mean could there be some things they might see that you don't approve? Sure, but if all breaks right, you will not be regretting the decision.

Yes sir.  My wife (Morgan) and I are in a photo further down the story.  I grew up in KC, but we've lived in Milwaukee for the past 11 years.
