    I hear you but they don’t win a super bowl or go on a run this year without him since Carson got his annual period. Just kinda feel like they should let him do him and go where he wants. It’s a business. I get it.

    By franchising him they control his salary and where he goes, no? I could be wrong. I know nothing about nfl finances

    It's a business.  My understanding is that they have paid out when they didn't have to....he will understand.

    If he gets tagged, its for one year and at about $24 million (was $23,2 last year).

    The team that trades for him will most likely sign him to a longer term deal, you're not trading for one year of him, so he'll likely get same money he'd get as a UFA, Eagles will get a draft pick back and probably keep him out of DC as well. (Where I think he'd end up if he was a free agent).

    I think you're confused. We're talking about the inferior Rams team the Patriots beat two days ago in the Super Bowl. You said they bested my team when in fact the Eagles beat them a couple months ago, with their back up quarterback. You remember Nick Foles, don't you?
