    the 1st down pass after the interference call was the worse pass Wentz has thrown in 3 years. Love Wentz but he choked on the last drive

    defense gave up 3 touchdowns in about 8 minutes. just awful.

    for all the bitching about not wasting clock they did kill almost 6 minutes over the 2 drives before giving up the lead.

    i guess Carolina zipped down the field 3x with almost exclusively pass plays because they established the run in the 1st quarter :confounded:

    Division is coming down to the 4 games against Cowboys and Skins.  And they will pick up a game next week with a win after the Skins lose to the Giants next week.

    maybe because your choices to run the ball were a banged up undrafted free agent who averaged less than 1 yard per carry yesterday (Clement), another undrafted free agent who is only dressing because of injuries, and a guy who wasn't good enough to dress for the last 9 games last year (6 regular season games and 3 playoff games) in Smallwood.  so would you'd rather try to use your was-gonna-be-MVP QB last year with your stud receiver or stud TE to gain those yards and/or get a TD there or the slop currently at running back?  hard to blame Pederson for giving the ball to Wentz and trying Ertz and Jeffreys. Poor execution but can't fault Pederson there.

    Yeah, plus Smallwood got 8 yards 2nd down. It's 4 down territory so running it again on 3rd would've made sense there. Rough one. 

    Either way, Wentz has to start to show he can win those kinds of games. That's what elite qb's do.

    All makes sense, but that would've been the genius of it if they ran the ball>LOL. 

    Could make the argument that your stud offensive line should be able to block well enough, regardless of the RB's, to get 2 yards on 2 downs(Like Juggler mention it was 4 down territory with 2 TO's). Plus, it appeared to me that Carolina was playing pass all the way which may have open up for the run.

     Either way they should've  won that game.
