The Packers will be fine. Their offensive line should get healthy soon, and they won’t see another top-line quarterback until they play Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in late December. They do get the Eagles next month, which will provide them with another chance to show that they can hold up against a strong defensive line and a talented offense. The bookmakers have Green Bay as the third favorite in the NFC, but I’ll push it to the top of the list of contenders if more evidence confirms that the last two weeks were flukes.

They just can't help themselves but shit on Jalen Hurts.

Yea I don't get it.  and people are awfully cocky about a Packers team that lost to the Browns and tied the Cowboys.
If only we had an elite QB like Jordan Love or Justin Herbert, just imagine.

Tough one today.  Officiating was not good.  You can’t give Barkley just 6 carries,  offense is just not there yet.  Think it’s a combination of the offensive line not playing great and Patillo.  Is it really possible they made a bad hire at oc again?  Jalen Carter has not been great yet.

the 2nd most important part of this game tonight, after winning is hoping, no one gets severely injured on the awful MetLife turf.

Haha Giants fans pretty cocky for a 2-4 team.  Let’s not forget we are still the Champs.

we need to enjoy these when we can since they don't happen often, especially against the Eagles.

I had the game on mute, so I don’t know if michaels or herstreit had any insight but the vibe of the eagles didn’t look good. nor did jalen hurts.

and I gotta bench AJ on my FF team. he was my SECOND pick.

In addition to the general misery last night, I played against Skatabo in FF. 30 fucking points.

Yes , it had 2023 vibes were things went south quickly.  Losing Quinyon Mitchell and Jalen Carter not playing didn't help but Giants just had more energy and urgency.

That's one of those things that happens a lot on these Thursday night games. One team, usually the home team, just has more in the tank than the other.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Good win today to stem the negative tide.   As annoying the offense can be at times the minimal turnovers is just huge.  Just when I was about to label Toth the worst offensive lineman since the Buddy Ryan days they settled in a bit or at least enough for some big pass plays.

The NFL receivers catching the ball rules are so ridiculous.  I have no idea how that one was not a td.  A runner can touch 1/8 of the ball to one hundredth of the goal line to be a TD but a receiver has to catch it, fall to the ground, roll over probably bark and get up to for it to be a td.

It was clear to me it wasn't a TD. Whatever - I think we were going to take that game either way.

Everyone keep talking shit on our QB.

Beautiful (in an ugly way) running out of the clock. AJ was all in with making sure he got tackled inbounds.

That was a mind-bogglingly prototypical Carson Wentz game.
