Yeah 11 sacks. You should be. However he is 30 and will be entering the backside of his career.

Zach and Bo were saying this was a casualty of the Eagles not doing their normal restructuring during the year to avoid locker room disruptions. If they did that and got him for less, they'd love to have him. But they've been able to find guys like Hargrave at similar points in their careers before. And, obviously you want to see Jordan Davis become the monster we envisioned last Spring.

Also I'd love to know which past in season restructurings resulted in locker room disruptions

Only 4 year deal so I'm ok with that.  He's a baller.
Jordan Davis should be as well, and way younger/cheaper.

Agree about locker room disruption idea....thrse guys got along fine by all accounts, can't believe a team friendly extension blows up the chemistry.  Who knows...perhaps others would have been pissed.

The dollar bill comeback is actually solid though
Except he's too stupid to realize the Eagles have $4 - yeah still less than $5 thanks to that BS call.

Yeah I heard them say that it possibly a mea culpa for thinking Kinlaw could step right in. I think it's a good move and I don't think any fan can care about money except in a sport where the cap matters, though. It's a lot of money, good for Hargrave, but they'll certainly still be beasts up front for this year. Probably hurts their chances of extending Bosa after next season though.

I still need to be sold on Davis, the specs are there but kinda disappointed. Willing to chalk it up to some injury, for now.

I have to think Cox is back because of all this, though. Wouldn't be surprised if they trade up for Carter if he drops beyond 5.

The Howie notion, yeah, is out there in print. The paraphrasing comes down to, "ok, we're not going to do our typical restructure and go for broke this year." And it only pays off if they win the whole damn thing, which was pretty close to happening. Now they're going to pay for it.

    Hot Niners Take:
Bosa needs help.  He didn't beast out against the better OLs without help inside.
Most Niners fans want to eat his taint.  I think he was weak when we needed a game wrecker a bunch of times.

Eagles will be fine....just have closer games now.

We still have #1. And the O-line is generally intact. Those are the main things.

And a good TE, two stud WRs
    Drafting a RB?

Oh, yeah, I don't envy having to root for that guy.

Birds will be fine, they won't be what they were this year (this was the greatest overall team of our lifetime, and possibly ever in the history of the franchise), but their offense is basically in tact and that's what ultimately wins games. Everything becomes clearer once they can nail down Hurts' extension.

Offense will be even better and defense will fall off. I know people who are overreacting right now. Especially with this team, who has done a lot of their work later in the offseason, you just gotta give it some time.

Maybe later in the draft. They gotta focus on the trenches and secondary, as usual (we don't need to reach and draft a WR this year - HUZZAH!). Problem is we have no 4th, 5th or 6th rounder. I'm up for trading down from #10 to get some more assets.

I don't know the terms but sounds like a low risk high reward kind of thing.

Wow crazy good news right there. I don't think they're going CB with that pick now. Mayyyybe, but I think the chance of trading up for Carter just increased.

    Edit: that deal is CHEAP

1996 is 27 years, but okay...lol... I know math can be difficult. Like your brilliant argument that you'd rather have 1 SB win in 57 years than 5

Guess you don't listen to PJ albums older than 6 years old .... "cause those 90's ones don't count"...

That guy is actually a fan of a team that was a legitimate dynasty within a reasonable window of time that's relevant and  isn't nearly three decades ago.

Relevant?  You guys are a laugh... Dallas is the most valuable franchise and the most talked about team regardless of the amount of time its been since they won the SB.... I know that's hard to live with, but it is what it is..  A lot of teams come and go and yes they haven't won in 27 years, but they are relevent year in and year out and are usually #1 or #2 in the NFC East..
