    If he gets tagged, its for one year and at about $24 million (was $23,2 last year).

    The team that trades for him will most likely sign him to a longer term deal, you're not trading for one year of him, so he'll likely get same money he'd get as a UFA, Eagles will get a draft pick back and probably keep him out of DC as well. (Where I think he'd end up if he was a free agent).

    Like I said, I know nothing about football money. If this was best case scenario all the way around, why hasn’t it been a foregone conclusion? Or has it?
