    You're way too optimistic - first, as a Philadelphian - because this team hasn't proven anything to show that even if they got "hot" what that would mean in meaningful games, ala the playoffs.

    It's like being the smartest kid on the short bus then being thrown into AP courses. Roll their way to a stout 9-7 record then get blown out by Arizona in the playoffs? What's that proving to me?

    It just seems like not all phases are going to click, and this d-line is going to peak before the rest of this team legitimately gets its shit together. And somehow Billy fucking Davis will be here for however long Chip is here.

    well we will see. I thought 10-6 was about right for this team and I still think that can happen with their schedule. 9-7 may be more realistic though. wasn't thinking sb or anything.

    my point about parity is it's a long season and things tend to change on a week by week basis. I think it's kind of like baseball where a team can get hot down the stretch and go on a run under the right circumstances and matchups...

    Monday night is an absolute must win. lose and you go 0-3 in the division which makes it virtually impossible to win a tie-breaker to win the division. this of course means that even if you go 8-2 the rest of the way even 10 wins could leave out like last year. 100% have to win this game.

    Hopefully Thurmond has a bad game. We signed him last year but he spent the season on IR. Now he's playing well for you guys.

    I got no feel for this game tonight. can see pretty much anything happening. One thing that makes me feel a bit good is that this team is just due to play 4 really good quarters together aren't they?
