Hi everyone,

I want to hear from you Pearl Jam fans how many concerts you will go and who you will go see or would like to go see this year. This is who I will go see so far, but it doesn't mean I will go see all of them (all shows are in Toronto, except where stated):

-Soundgarden at Sound Academy on January 25;
-Lady Gaga at the Air Canada Centre on February 8;
-Bon Jovi at the Air Canada Centre on February 17;
-Rihanna at the Air Canada Centre on March 19;
-Muse at the Air Canada Centre on April 10;
-Green Day at the Air Canada Centre on April 11 (originally scheduled on January 29)
-Several shows that my parents & I will go see while we will be in Las Vegas from April 27 to May 3. We still haven't bought tickets for any shows though.

If I were to add one or two more concert(s), this is what I would go see:

-Orion Music + More Festival in Detroit, Michigan on June 8 & 9. Festival curated by Metallica
-Pearl Jam in Toronto as well, but I don't see that happening this year. I could be wrong though.

    If they didn't mosh at Soundgarden shows I'd be more open to it. They also don't change up their sets much. But I'm sure I could be talked into staring at Chris Cornell for 3 nights :)

    Yeah, thats the biggest issue, not changing the set that freq.
    Well, you're not alone, I think half the audience is staring at Chris.... ;)
    I'm more of a Kim or Ben guy myself... 8-)

    Nothing yet. I entered for a chance to see Bon Jovi at Mohegan in February, so hopefully I win those tickets! Hoping Springsteen adds another US leg before or after Europe, unless he's working on a new album, then maybe after Europe. Always hoping for Pearl Jam to announce dates. It would also be nice to see if U2 tours, but they'd have to release a new album first.
    Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

    I'm seeing this kid Jake Bugg on Jan. 16. I don't know too much about him but my friend says he really good and getting good buzz. I guess he's only 18 and kind of sounds like a young Dylan.....The show is sold out. Has anyone heard of him?

    I saw him open for Noel Gallagher. He's a really good guitar player, don't like his voice much though. I enjoyed his set though so I think it will be a good show. He seemed real nervous when I saw him but i'd imagine that's because he was at a big theater opening for Noel Gallagher. His song Two Fingers sounded really good live (don't like the studio version).

    Well I have a floor ticket for Muse in March, but I will probably be getting back to the states about a week before that show so I won't be going. Sucks that it's a paperless ticket so I can't even sell the damn thing. As for other shows

    Three Days Grace/Shinedown - 14 March - Pensacola Civic Center
    Allman Brothers Band Beacon Run - 8-9 March (As long as they let me fly away for the weekend, and don't confine me to the general area)
    Eric Clapton Crossroads Fest - 13 April - MSG

    My son is a classical musician/ music geek, and our calendar reflects that. I'm seeing my favorite work, Beethoven's 7th Symphony, at the New York Philharmonic tomorrow night, and I am just hoping I do not get thrown out for dancing. :D

    Next week my son and I are going to see Yo-Yo Ma, should be awesome.

    I have thirty concerts on the calendar for the first half of the year, not including my kid's -- all classical.

    I am hoping to add Pearl Jam to that list, would be happy to add others (Glen Hansard, the Church) if the occasion arises. Until then, I will be in the nice, comfortable seats. ;)
