I am routing for Peyton Manning and Denver to host the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC title game. That would be awesome to see Peytons old team come and challenge him and Denver with the rookie sensation in Andrew Luck. Maybe sending Peyton to Denver was good for both teams. I just dont want to see the Patriots or Ravens....

As far as the NFC...you gotta love the story for the Redskins this year. They have a tough matchup this week facing a HOT Seattle team. San Francisco, Green Bay and Atlanta are obviously the favorites but hey its always nice to see an underdog or two in there. Minnesota may have a chance to beat Green Bay this weekend. I predict Atlanta will host San Francisco in the NFC title game.

Superbowl matchup Denver vs. Atlanta Denver wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seattle will be tough to beat and they have a lot of momentum going into the playoffs. I think it's a good thing that they didn't get the bye.

  • Seattle vs Denver in the Super Bowl. Seattle wins. This prediction may have something to do with the futures bet I put in on the Seahawks a couple weeks ago at 12 to 1.

Is this THE most wide open playoffs ever? At least in recent memory ... yes?

I think you can say a lot of years that there are 4 or 5 teams that you feel are going to win or be in the final game ... but, damn, this one feels a little more like not one team can be trusted and could get bounced at any time.

Last year we saw a 9 - 7 team get hot, win a few road games and then win it all. All these teams are 10 win teams and yet, I think all of them have some pretty bad losses this year.

There are what, 2 maybe 3 teams you really doubt will win ... Cincy, Indy, Minn ... but, really, that's it. I could see any of the other teams in this field beating any other team on some random Sunday.

Sure, it's the long time Bostonian in me that has a fear with y'all thinking the Pats got a good shot. Heading to Denver scares the crap out of me. And let's not forget when the Pats waxed the Jets near the end of the regular season a few years ago (45 - 3) and then the Jets came into Foxborough and beat them in the playoffs. Why couldn't Houston pull the same trick?

No one trusts Atlanta and they've been the 1 seed since October it seems.

Rookies rookie rookies ... Luck, Kaepernick, RGIII, Wilson ... huge x factors.

If I'm going on record, I'll say Green Bay over Denver in the Superbowl ... but it could almost as easily be Houston over Washington, or Seattle over Indy or any combination of these 12 teams ... hell, it could be the two #1 seeds, but that would be boring and, you know ... FU Peyton!

I know that Seattle hasn't won an away playoff game in a while (7 or 8 straight) but, that defense is probably the best in the nfc. Truthfully, even if Seattle doesn't win, I'm taking Denver to beat any team the nfc can bring to the super bowl.
