The new album has been half done pretty much since the release of Backspacer...and we've been told "early '13"...well it's early '13...now what specific month/day are we talking here?

    I think it's safe to assume that with other commitments that the early part of the year will be pretty quiet. Alpine boots would be a nice start and they should open the vault on the Yield tour (still wondering if there's an underlying reason why they put images of ticket stubs from 98' shows inside the cover of the last Deep mag). I'm hoping Soundgarden extend their tour with some Euro dates with more than just a London show for the UK. I'm hoping that PJ will release an album this year and I'd be happy to see something happen later in the year with a slightly longer US tour than in recent years. Really wouldn't care for another Backspacer standard release though. Something a bit more creative and experimental just to make things interesting. Aus\NZ\Jap tour in November. Next year back to Europe and Canada, VFC and 07 boots and Lost Dogs 2. Got it all worked out..... :mrgreen:

    Am I the only one who is a bit unexcited about the new album? I mean, if they've had 1/2 of it done for this long and they arent motivated to finish it up, what does that have to say about the quality of the tunes?

    ...then there's all this side project stuff...no focus.. :evil:
    I wish they would get together and lock themselves in a castle or house (like RHCP in funky monks) for 6-8 months and write some heavy shit for godsake!
