Top 15 Favorite Bands & Favorite Album From Each (In Order)

edited January 2013 in Other Music
To prevent from complicating things, I'm not including one-off albums like Temple Of The Dog, Them Crooked Vultures, or Mad Season's Above. They really only had one short lived album and time, so it is pretty hard to rank one of those bands in a top list. However, honestly all of those albums are some of my favorite music ever. Also, I didn't rank Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Thom Yorke, etc... for the same reasons. Again though, Into The Wild, Euphoria Morning, and The Eraser are some of my favorite music. Mark Lanegan is on my list because that is different, that is his primary musical output, and technically it is the Mark Lanegan Band. Anyways...

GO!

1.) Pearl Jam - Yield
2.) Soundgarden - Down On The Upside
3.) Radiohead - OK Computer
4.) Incubus - A Crow Left Of The Murder
5.) Alice In Chains - Dirt
6.) Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy
7.) Mark Lanegan (Band) - Whiskey For The Holy Ghost
8.) My Morning Jacket - Z
9.) Dave Matthews Band - Before These Crowded Streets
10.) Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf
11.) Kings Of Leon - Because Of The Times
12.) Nirvana - In Utero
13.) The Who - Quadrophenia
14.) Screaming Trees - Buzz Factory
15.) The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream

*Random Fact... I knew my favorite album from all these bands pretty quickly except for one. I find it extremely hard picking my favorite Radiohead album. I was between four different ones for like five minutes. Possibly the most consistent band ever in terms of studio albums.
