French Fries Or Onion Rings?

    Totally depends on where you go IMO. I'd take steak fries any day but any other kind of fry might lose to the almighty onion ring.

    It kind of depends on where I am at, but most likely I would go with onion rings.

    Some of the diners here in Smalbany, if your meal comes with fries they also through some onion rings in with it. Not sure if this is a Smalbany thing or not. I've probably been to about a half dozen different diners that did this.

    It is a matter of taste...Fries, gravy and cheese, but I have also had lobster poutine...which was fries, a creamy sauce, lobster and cheese. More like a meal than a side dish!

    Sorry, it's French fries, covered in cheese and gravy. It's big in eastern Canada.
    I don't do gravy so I don't eat it.

    Really, really depends. I'm not a huge fries fan, but some soggy fries or onion rings are the worst. But if we pit the "best" fries vs. the "best" onion rings, I'd probably take onion rings. With BBQ sauce. Fuck, anything with BBQ.

    some restaurants do a nice crispy thin fry with little crunchies I can nibble off...yummers
