Anyone else into this hockey tournament as much as I am. I've watched every Canada since I can remember, right back to the punchup in Piestany. Canada will have to battle this year

    Russia hosting puts a damper on it a little. I can never keep away from the scores so, I won't be watching the early games. If the States make it deep in the tourney, I'll find a way to not look at the scores and watch them later that night.

    Im really hoping Buffalo could host the 2018 WJC again. They are going to bid on it, and there arent many places in the US that it could possibly work the way they want.

    Wondering where the 2015 and 2017 will be as well in Canada. Hopefully driving distance

    I registered for the tickets today after the Slovakia game. If in Buffalo again, I'll be there, not missing this tournament again if its so close to home

    I purchased the tsn.ca stream last night, $20, not bad, I don't have cable and with the games in Russia not alot of the sites I watch streamed sports from had the repeat games in prime time in North America.

    I get to watch the live games, the full game on demand (100 minutes no commercials and intermission) or a condensed 20 minute game on demand

    Watched the Canada vs Slovakia game last night and the condensed Russia v USA

    That 3rd goal from Canada was sweet, dude from the point picked up the forward going to the net for the deflection

    I saw on the news that the Russians and some other European country were saying Canada are playing dirty

    Camara rocked that Slovak defender......clean hit no question about it. I didn't think the Canadians were playing dirty at all. I found the Slovaks were the ones playing dirty. As soon as they were out of it, the cheap slashes and hacks were coming left right and center.

    I can't wait for Canada to smash the U.S.A. I'm not sure the states will be able to compete physically with Canada.
    Oh, and Seth Jones is very overrated.

    watched a bit of the German vs Russia game this morning. Russia looks like their goalie is solid and won't be a weakness.

    crowd will be buzzing for the Canada game Monday morning

    I too agree that was a clean hit, hockey is a physical game, and your going to have situations where a player is going to be coming up the boards waiting for the puck meeting another player going after the puck at full speed, its natural, the player even looked up before he picked up the puck off the boards, he should have spotted the Canadian player coming at him and met the checker or let the puck go past him and continue along the boards and shift away from the check

    great win today...good game.Subban played well. That Seth Jones guy didn't impress me too much. The Canadian player I'm really liking is that Drouille (however you spell his name :lol: ) real smooth and niffy playmaker
