Don't usually consume dairy (other than goat cheese and occasionally goat milk) but she wanted eggnog so I got some. What to put in it? Rum? Brandy? Other?

Spiced rum is how I'm rocking the eggnog this evening. Good shit!

My husband likes eggnog and whiskey so I bought him Evan Williams eggnog. It looks like eggnog but is very, very strong - almost like drinking straight whiskey. So I bought some more eggnog for him to dilute it. I don't like eggnog. Icky taste and the word "eggnog" makes me think I am drinking raw eggs although I doubt if that would be allowed by the FDA.

Generally not as thick as custard, more like a runny milk shake. We drink it cold - it stays in the fridge.
