    I hope he lived a happy life - he definitely brought many smiles to mine (and not as Quincy, either!).

    The Odd Couple was one of the shows I overlooked on that favorite tv series thread.

    One of the best. He always struck me as I guy I would love to sit at a table with, have a beer and play some cards.

    Yeah, and Charles Durning passed too - I could say the same about him as you did up there about JK.

    Just regular Joes.

    I loved Durning in Tootsie, Home for the Holidays, and The Shield. Similar roles, almost.
