    I haven't booked a hotel yet any suggestions. I am considering staying somewhere outside d.c. for cost purposes. Any suggestions?

    RFD is big enough for a meet up, it's where the Crohn's fundraiser was held in '06, if any of you attended that.

    Staying at the Americana Hotel, Arlington, VA - some 2 miles from the venue. Seems pretty decent.

    Fellow Boomer? who looks forward to meeting you - a former Dead Head (who did the Wall of Sound summer tour in 78-at18) now taking their youngest teenager to their first PJ show. We are voluteering so wherever that ends up being is where we'll be, preshow. My son would howl and love the "elderly woman" idea - I can see great t-shirts for this - maybe I can wear a t-shirt that says "Behind the Counter" since "Elderly Woman" and "In a Small Town" sounds like they're already taken, LOL!

    Been lurkin' the forums here off and on for years. Heading for the DC show myself, so I look forward to meetin' some of yall there. I think I'll be wearing my Voters For Choice t-shirt from '98 -- i think it's my only PJ shirt that's still respectable.

    Luckily I have a work conference in DC that week, so I'll be in town for the show! I'm from Baltimore/DC, but have been livin' in Germany (and missing PJ shows) for 5 years. Now just need to get a ticket from Ticketmonster. If that doesn't work I'll resort to groveling here for an extra. :D

    There's a chance I'll be soloing it for the show, depending on whether my friends can score tix, too. So, point me to the party so I'm not soloing all day & night. :D
