TWENTY FEWER (December 15/12)

There’ll be 20 fewer children at school today
There’ll be 20 fewer children on the grounds, at play
There’ll be 20 fewer children on the swings to sway
There’ll be 1 more soul in hell, let us pray

Let’s take the guns from their hands
Put their hands in ours
Encourage them to talk
No more tracing kids with chalk

It’s tough to make sense
