The holy shiznit the Hobbit was awesome thread -no spoliers

The Hobbit was unreal. Graphics were so much improved, not a moment on the standard version I saw did I feel something was fake.

A lot of the similarities in writing and minor minor story aspects as the first three, but since the same guy did it it makes sense. It looks like it will flow like the other 3, this first one was a lot of character development, but way more action than the fellowship had.

If you love the trilogy don't believe all the haters. go see it and enjoy amazing graphics, more humor, new characters and old, and some flat out amazing digital effects. The new facial expression technology they used is so lifelike it is frightening.

2 hours 40 minutes went real fast, and I never felt like it was draggin on , the number one criticism I saw in reviews. If you a a casual fan, or first timer I see how it could feel that way, but as an extended version kind of guy ;-) it was not long enough!

    I enjoyed it... felt like it was about 15 minutes too long.

    I think the next two will be even better

    what do you mean no spoilers??? theres a book... and its been around for longer than almost everyone on this site im thinking. its like saying BIBLE- THE MOVIE was awesome... no spoilers.

    The movie doesn't entirely follow the book
