The Rolling Stones to headline Coachella Festival 2013? The band accidently leaked news of the California date via their mobile app


This would be a great get for Coachella......they've already sold tickets at the normal price, so assuming the Stones are demanding a king's ransom, the promoter may be taking a huge financial hit.

    I think a big part of them charging so much is because they have such a huge production that it costs a lot of money to put on the shows, presumably they wouldn't be taking that to a festival so they probably wouldn't be demanding so much.

    I think they are charging a lot because they are The Rolling Stones! ;)

    I agree, it'd be amlost impossible to amend the stage to include the ramps, walkways, etc., but they could still use the entire video system.

    Yeah I'm sure they wouldn't cut their fee, but the extra costs wouldn't be there for the stage production so it would have to be a bit cheaper at least!
