so i enjoyed the 12 12 12 concert lastnight. my ears picked up a few words some find inappropriate. i been wondering if the fcc will have a discussion with the roger waters band for the word bullshit and with the the who for dropping two fuck bombs when roger sings 'who the fuck are you?" & when pete says "have a fucking beer"

FCC has no control over cable channels, which I think the show was only on cable channels, not broadcast. Cable channels decide whether or not they want to put curses on. This is why Comedy Central and FX play occasional curses.

Having said that, does Roger's attire count as a "wardrobe malfunction"?

Actually, it was shown on some broadcast stations. Channels 38 and 7-3 both carried it in Chicago.

I did notice a few times where the picture and audio seemed to freeze. It seemed to me that they might have been doing this to omit any "offensive" language that was caught.

But there were definitely more than a few things that slipped through.

the news broadcaster guy (i forget his name) talking in call center said it was a family show where roger had taken his shirt off & he said something about kids learning a new word or whatever.

Every time I've heard Who Are You on the radio - and it's been awhile! - "fuck" was never censored. I'm not sure why, as NIN's Closer and Tool's Aenima, among others, are consistently edited.

As to Roger, I found it more than amusing how he was first in shirt and jacket, then shirt, then a couple shirt buttons undone, then he said the hell with it, this motherfucker's going full-on open.

Gotta say the man looks Fine - yes, with a capital F - for his age. Plus I figure it was hot as hell in there, plus a long set for them to boot.

By the way, out here in LA, I saw only cable channels were airing the concert.

For someone to work as hard as it probably is to maintain that body, especially at a higher age, its understandable to want to show it.

Ha ha, apparently Pete found losing his hair kinda traumatic. Must be jealous of Roger's.

BTW Roger and Keith Richards are the same age. Hard to believe.

I missed the show (work, work, work) so thanks all for little incites.

Chadwick, as for the f-bombs, it seems to me like its a healthy thing for a discrete- or even not so discrete- expletive to slip in over the air waves now and then. Just a little spice to the mix. I was listening to Jon Miller announce an S.F. Giants game one summer several years ago and he said, "Shit, do you see that [great play]!" I think that might have been the first time I heard "shit" on the radio.

Oh, and kids, being a sexagenarian rocks!
