    It didn't happen but I swear I might seen Ed sing this karaoke at a bar back in 2000.... Very incognito, after Roskilde, didn't realize it might been him till weeks later. If it was, he killed it.

    In my head, I can actually hear Ed singing this song! I think he'd do an awesome job of it! :D

    Yeah. There was this kinda short guy sitting by himself, kind of keeping to himself, wearing a hat, he got up to sing--it's like, Piano Man, great karaoke song! And after like a few lines I told my sister, "Wow, this guy sounds really good!" By the middle of the song people were really into it and gave him a good applause at the end. As soon as his song was over, he sat down by himself again, finished his beer and left.

    A few days or maybe weeks later it kind of dawned on me, like it COULD have maybe been Vedder. It probably wasn't but the whole thing just seemed kind of weird. It was after Roskilde, before the US tour started, if he had a beard (I don't remember) we hadn't really seen Ed with a beard before that tour so wouldn't have really recognized him... and the only thing that makes me wonder is it was in a dinky bar in ALBUQUERQUE. What he would have been doing in a bar in Albuquerque, I have no idea... but around that time was also when Stone was, I think, either running a studio in Santa Fe, or producing albums and living in Santa Fe, something like that (met Stone after the Santa Fe Three Fish show the year before, he didn't get on stage but was in the crowd). And then years later there were video clips of Ed doing Karaoke at baseball camp or whatever, so it's not like he's completely against doing karaoke or anything...

    So... who knows??????????
