It's okay if you want to hold me and hold me in disdain
Maybe this is the pain that you owed me
O, but it's a strain to feel you loathe me, and not hate you as you stone me
O, what the people say doesn't matter any way
I know what I am and I'm going the right way
O, what the people say shattered today
I go not the easy way
I am what I am
It's okay if you want to scorn and call me a fool
I studied in your school
It bored me
One day what you pay me will come back to you
And what you thought was a lie, you'll see if it is true
O, it is true what I say
Don't follow their wicked ways, these people are in ruins
Do what they do and be enslaved; their master is insane, and so would be you
Go your own way, I say; you know what's right for you
Light your own way be brave; I am here with you
If you do not like the present, let it be the past; all the rich to me are peasants, they will be the last
I honor kindness, it is true bravery
Maybe you won't mind this; save a prayer for me
I have known blindness; it has tormented me, but all through this I thought that I could see
I have known bliss, and for it you abhor me; this is not a crime, this is a tragedy
We have a sickness, a virus, a disease
It doesn't make our heads to hurt or make us cough or sneeze
It cuts us off from our very souls; hardens are hearts makes them black like coals
What is this ailment?
Think about it, please
It was born in the mind, that's the only way it leaves
O, what the people say doesn't bother me today
Most of them have lost their souls, as the prophets said in days of old
