I thought maybe it would taste like shoes.
I thought maybe it would taste like cat litter.
I thought maybe it would taste like cardboard.

I was pleasantly surprised!

I'm gonna agree there... I've never had turkey bacon that I would consider tasty. I don't mind things like turkey sausage, ground turkey, etc, but turkey bacon... ewww...

I would rather eat vegetarian bacon than turkey bacon. Yes, I've had it.

Well, the "burger" is just the formation of ground material or pieces of material formed together, cooked, and placed between bread product.
I make homemade veggie burgers from scratch and don't ever intend or want them to taste like beef.

But I get what you're saying...

  • Don't cook it until it's crispy... then it blows... This is the only bacon I don't recommend crisping.
