Some cool little collector items on the bay - not PJ related

Mike Vallely called me earlier in the year and was stoked to be doing a little collaboration with Tom Petty. Mike has been a professional skateboarder for 25 years and is a friend of our family. He also happens to be good friends with Ben Harper, and it was Ben who helped orchestrate this charity thing with other musicians that was put together for the Tony Hawk Foundation. This foundation helps fund new skateparks in areas where the funding normally wouldn't be there.

Anyway, Ben put the word out, and before long they had quite a few musicians participating. Mike is a big Tom Petty fan, so he was paired up with him. Basically they've taken the boards that these pros have ridden, and then had the musicians hand-write the lyrics to a song of their choice. It really turned out amazing, and they are now up for auction.
