Looks like you need more storage space
Yep, you've got that right, any suggestions?
I bought 3 molded plastic cubes(can see them in my pic) that stack together and fit my records.
I bought them at Target. No idea if they would still sell them or not. They work well.
Ok, thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'll probably go for one of those square/rectangle type shelves with like 4-6 cubicles for storage, they look pretty nice with a bunch of records in them.A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0 -
Update: I did as Dr. Delight suggested and got some storage for my records, tidy's things up nicely I think...A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0

Have updated some of my music listening equipment, still running the Polk RTi A1's which I enjoy, but may update them in the near future...
Purchased a new Rega RP3 with an Elys 2 cartridge to replace my RP1...
Very pleased with this update, it has a better platter made of glass and a better tonearm, I can definitely hear quite a difference in sound quality over the RP1. I changed up the plinth colour from the light grey to the dark.
And a new amp, the Cambridge Audio Topaz SR20 to replace my Pioneer VSX-521 receiver...
I had to get something that would not only make listening to vinyl sound great, but also still be able to run my TV, Blu-ray and Sky TV (cable) through it and this unit ticked all the right boxes. Pumps out 100 watts per channel and has a built in DAC too. Adjustable bass and treble have really made listening to vinyl come alive.A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0 -
Updated my setup. I got a bit more to do and I have to move some stuff around. But you get the idea. My wife actually put it all together, as I am not handy or able to put anything together on my own without breaking it. I have doors for all the empty slots, not sure I will put them on yet. Nice to have my Cd player and Cassette Player up and running again.

Ha funny you say that, as your picture in the "lemme see that vinyl collection" thread was one of the setups that I had liked and wanted to do something similar too. I live about an hour a way from Toronto. Come on over, I guess I owe you a beer anyway for "inspiration" hahaBIGDaddyWil said:^^^^^^ Where do you live? I'm coming over!!!! Sweet set-up! Congrats!

Nice pic of your cat. Actually took me a sec to see him/her. Blends in real well with the carpet.
Oh, and the room is pretty sweet, too.0 -
