Pearl Jam plays its first concerts at the historic Manhattan arena. At the start of the encore during night one, fake security guards carry out several enormous file boxes as part of Vedder's joke that the band traded prosecutor Kenneth Starr passes in exchange for all the records pertaining to President Bill Clinton's affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. To start the encore during night two, fans hold up thousands of signs requesting "Breath", which hadn't been played in more than four years, as part of a campaign that had begun three shows earlier by fans Jessica Letkemann and Paris Montoya. It's the first such mass Pearl Jam fan mobilization to be spread largely through online discussion. Eddie Vedder from the stage before "Breath": "You fucking cocksuckers. You fucking dicks! You know, we come up here as a collective band and we give and we give and you just fucking want more. And you know what? You deserve it. This is like some kind of organized religion here. I've never seen anything like it. Do you see what's happening? The third night in a row, right? Well, fuck you. We're gonna play it"!

I traded for that tape within a day of reading the setlist that night. I had the worst audience recording of all time on some Maxell XLII's but i would sit with my ear to that speaker listening to Breath.
