as my feet heat up the carpet
I can't help but think:
There must be more options!
more than merely a "this" or a "that"
(fork in the road)
why do we need to think of only going to the right or to the left?
why can't there be more choices?
after all, people think of unusual solutions
to problems all the time!
perhaps this moment approaching requires
expansive imagination?
I've seen the brilliance of the creative mechanism
frequently enough to know that there are always more
than two ways to travel!
I feel this might be a time to search for solutions with all the tools
the big telescope,
the small telescope,
the magnifying glass, and the naked eye!
