Dublin/Leeds/Reading Poster

Hey guys, I was at Leeds Festival weekend just gone and would like to know what'll happen to the posters they clearly didn't sell out of at the festivals?

I'd kinda like one, but £15 for something that came with no tube and was guarenteed to be destroyed in festival carnage was just not worth it. Now I'm after one, does anyone know how?

I didn't see any posters, but all the PJ T-shirts were sold out when I went to buy one at reading, so I settled for a festival one instead. Hey, at least their name's on the back.

It is a thought dude, but not so helpful now...

I bought posters from the stall selling the lineup ones but there were no tubes available there (they were sold in shrink wrap), I don't know where else they were selling posters.

The T-shits did sell out at Leeds, but they got more in at some point, I bought one Saturday afternoon! Still, there's no way they sold out of those posters and they were specific to the three dates mentioned so there are some somewhere unsold...

Does anyone have the correct email address for contacting the 10C about something like this?

I couldn't get a t-shirt at Dublin as they were sold out but thought oh well I'll just get it at Reading but of course 'sold out' by the Sunday :o

There's one going on eBay, £16 at the minute, only one on there. Other than that I can't think of anywhere else. Maybe contact Ames directly?

I know that when my friend and I got ours at Reading there were only 4 left at the merch stand bottom left of the arena. That was just before midday. We then had to guard the posters for 12 hours so we didn't get any creases etc, which we managed, even with going into the pit :D I did have a look round the poster stall and nobody had any tubes!

Actually, there are like six or seven on eBay right now. One, a s/n poster, is up to $204. What is that? £120?

I don't envy that, I managed to resist until after they played at Leeds and just walked out with one. Luckily they didn't sell out, ran out of poster bags though.

Wasn't all that bad tbh. We were by the bar most of the day, so we just left them in the middle of some bags. Then when PJ played my mate had them in his bag with people standing around him :)

Joe, I only searched under Pearl Jam Ames, probably why you found more. Still, gave you something to come over all superior about :D (I'm jokin' btw ;))

Edit: Just had a look on eBay. Sickens me that people are getting the Eire/UK Ames s/n posters just to sell them! There were plenty of people at Dublin/Reading/Leeds who missed out on one who would love one.

  • Didn't see these at Leeds. Whilst I would like one, I wouldn't pay anymore that £30. The signed ones on eBay ae way out of reach.

  • at dublin they were €20 and at reading £15,

i picked up an extra for a friend who should be getting me one from italy, if this falls thru or they manage to hook themselves up i'll be happy to pass it on to someone here.

The hoodies in dublin were cool, got 1 for €65 after the tried to get one of the white/green shirts at reading but they were sold out, hopefully i'll get one further along the tour.

Im also looking into getting to the Berlin show but as yet have not tickets im sure something will come good in the next couple of weeks though.

btw, It's not the best PJ poster i have ever seen but if your there you have to get one, would have loved a signed/ numbered one instead but not much chance as they were onsale on friday...
    Just gimme me some truth...

My mate got the dark blue one in Dublin, they had a few at Reading too. Another mate got the brown one in Dublin. Both very nice, but I couldn't really get one, end up going out looking like a load of fools all wearing the same :D We had to sort out who was wearing what t-shirts before Reading as it was :D

No it's not, not when you look at those from previous years. But, as you say, it's something to remember it by. Mines already framed and up on the wall, the missus loves it :)

Where did you get the frame to fit the poster.
I'm having trouble findnig one. And dont want to pay to have it made for it.

Its probably custom made. I've been trying to frame my REM one for a while now and its near impossible without splashing out. Will be worth it though.

I had one already mate with a poster signed by Kevin Smith (movie director). As I've already got a signed Clerks poster I didn't need the other one.

I got the frame from Habitat originally, but it was over a year ago.

I was at Leeds for the entire weekend. I bought a poster on the Thursday night. I rolled it up, wrapped it in 2 t-shirts, and kept it in my tent.

I had a girl in my tent on the Sunday, I made sure to tell her to mind the poster.

You'll all be happy to know that the poster made it home in mint condition. Now to frame that badboy.
    ...
  • i got my poster as soon as i got there, then put it in my tent till the end. was alright. i carried it for the whole 3 hour journey and 3 bus rides so it woudlnt get squashed in my bag.

i love the poster, i know it was a bit steep but ive wanted a pj tour poster for years but the usually go for £30+ on ebay. some of my friends were like wtf!!!??? £15 for a poster, but they spent £100+ on the overpriced larger and got too wasted to enjoy pearl jam so ahh well i win.
