i'll spend more than that by 1030 am ( not just powerball)
you might have a lotto problem.
just out of curiousitytitittyyyy, do you track your spendings and winnings. i'm actually pretty curious.
back when i played poker on a regular basis, i had a spreadsheet set up to track my net winnings. yeah, i admit, i'm a dork like that.
i have a very big lotto problem..although ive been on a hot streak since moving to this uptown office
ive been here 4 weeks and with my new lotto guy/stand i have hit the number 7 x
nothing huge a few $500's and $250's one $ 600
i actually hit this past saturday and sunday 500 and 250
i have played my bday 1226 every single day for the past 15 years.....not 1 day missed...when i go away i have my mom play for me
iam not kidding ....not 1 missed day in 15 years
it came out 6 years ago for $10,000
soooooooo ..all that being said....i'm in the red for a ton of money
you're better off just investing that money
so how much per year would you say you spend on lottery tickets?
assuming neilly started playing the lotto at age 20 and lives to be 80 or so, he will have spent almost a half million dollars on the lottery throughout his life.

420,000 less winnings
does the lotto post winning rate like slot machines?

our office pool contains 29 peeps...
the lady in charge bought 29 individual tickets claiming one pick per ticket results in better odds. :fp:

eh, it's not like you could you use an extra half million dollars when you're retired. real smart!

i spend 15-20 per day everyday no matter what
some days when i feel lucky i spend 50-70
so you can round about the math
i just came back from the stand
another 16 on powerball and $50 on the daily numbers ...so thats 68 + my normal 15 everyday =$83 today
when i go down to the ghetto later im gonna stop in every bodega and play $ 2 powerball
so on a special day like today $100
its a 20x bet on a football game (which i don't bet)
i don't even know what to say to this
its an addiction
I spend $10,000 on cigarettes every year. Everyone has their vice... well, most everyone
have you thought about applying those funds to paying down your Pearl Jam CC
that'd be like 3 or 4 packs a day
My math is a little off
I need to hire you
$1,500 a year

No... it just pisses off every clerk.
real brain trust you're working with over there
i tend to agree
and they were all bought at the same time at the same place. took about 90 seconds to fun all the tickets. :fp:
if you are going to do that, at least buy them at multilpe stores
and if i was behind that person.....i would have made a comment. :fp:
i'd like to commission a study.
you'll need to buy half your tickets one at a time, and half all at once. record your findings and report back in a year.
honestly, and i know i am nuts....but i'd love to see the results of this study.
you should see our P&L

Yep.. had a jackass get twenty separate tickets last week... thank god I wasn't the one printing them.
I gave him the will "you're being a jackass" look... I think he got it. Apologized before he left.
