On a separate note, I can't believe that Glen did not play Astral Weeks either night in Jacksonville. The crowd really missed seeing something special. He is incredible on that song.

The crowd interaction, the laughing, sly jokes, bits of shyness mixed in with the stories, and above all the music combined together to make one hell of a night. That's not a side of EV that most of us have gotten to see in person, myself included.. happy and comfortable.
I have a good friend that didn't want to go because he thought it would be just Eddy and a uke and thought that would be boring. If anyone reading this thinks that you couldnt be more wrong. I knew it would be a great night but my wife and I both agree that it was beyond even our expectations.
Cheers Eddy, Glen, and everyone involved with an awesome production.
This was an absolute perfect endcap to my RN graduation "blow off steam" week. Thank's so much.
And please.. come back again and quite often!
PS,
Please release the night from the very beginning with Glen to the very end for fan download. My wife and I are chomping at the bit to relive the night.
If your going to "self warm".. make sure you do it laying down so it doesnt just warm one leg.
What a great night :corn:

I loved all of it really but I was amazed by a few of the songs. This Land is Your Land with Glen Hansard was so much better than I could have expected!!
Good Woman made me cry a little. :geek: The End made me cry a lot. :?
I hadn't heard Man of the Hour lately and it was just lovely.
I noticed that someone was filming the concert as I was leaving. Maybe there will be a DVD?
Yep.
I forgot to mention, I really enjoyed I am a Patriot too!
Me too! Would LOVE to have heard "Thumbing My Way"!!
Lol- I couldn't agree more. It amazes me how he puts music to feelings and actually makes them audible. It music to raw feelings and it's simply Devine.

This show was awesome, they were loose and chatty. I scored 3rd row in the pit. (Row of fat bald guys on the right)
Touched Eddie's hand at the end. I'm like a schoolgirl
Great show.

LOL......It's an accurate description I suppose, but I'm so much more than that. Don't get me wrong, the other 3 bald fat guys were probably just brain dead, but I'm special.
I can't wait to write my fanview. I hope you have a sense of humor.
Your Pal,
