  • Two weeks from today. I just can't look at it for the next two weeks and still enjoy it by the time the holiday comes around. When I was growing up we used to decorate on Christmas Eve, which I liked, so I think this is a happy medium.

We're getting ours next Friday night, and putting it up on Sunday.

But today I wrapped the presents I've gotten so far.

Any volunteers to come to my house and put ours up?

You could probably hire somebody to bring a tree to your house and put the lights on, right? It might be worth it - cause I could beat my husband to death in the process too.

This. I enjoy the tree but can't bring myself to put it up this early.

Driving home from my mom's this evening I saw trees at a lot of houses.

It takes me a full weekend to do all my decorations and I had no time last weekend. Will be in Wisconsky this weekend, so they might not get done til mid-December...eek!

the plug in jack-o-lantern is doing just fine, I see no reason to replace it with a tree any time soon

it is way too early for a tree...

growing up mom put it up a weekend before christmas...

After 4 years of living together, my girlfriend finally went out last week and bought a tree... I told her we weren't getting one until we got a house, then we got a house last year and then I told her we had furniture that needed to be bought first... this year there was no stopping it... ...

I did manage to get agreement not to put it up until December 1st... so I know what she'll be doing all day this saturday... :fp: ...

I just can't handle 2 months of christmas... after about 2 weeks i'm ready to snap.... :x

We travel back to newfoundland to the parents every christmas... gone usually for over 2 weeks, all of which surrounding christmas... so I don't know why I need a tree at all...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
