    Hey, I would like to go to Madrid
    to see them also at Festimad.

    The best way to go there is.....(train maybe?...flights are very bad)

    car would be the best option. 600 kms on highway from lisbon to madrid. low cost airplanes arrive too late in madrid and the international train leaves lisbon too early.

    Any one going from Lisbon to Madrid by car? I'm very bad at driving, but good with maps and directions. I talk spanish (useful for spain jejeje) and yep! if anyone is willing to drive over to Madrid and dont know want to have a empty place on their car... pm me please!

    The tickets are not yet for sale... so far PJ is the only band confirmed. I now someone in the festival organization, he told me as soon as he had any news he would tell me something.
    So far, the wait is killing me...

    I'm coming from the US and was planning to take the Eurail from Lisbon to Madrid the morning of the 9th. Is that not possible? Bad times, too long? Thanks.

    afaik, the only train from Lisbon to Madrid is an overnight one...that leaves too early.

    If you found one that leaves in daytime let me know...but I looked hard and didn't find it.

    unfortunately I have had the same problem. I was hoping to catch my first and second Pearl Jam gig in the same weekend but the flights are at odd hours!!

    Ill definately be going to the Lisbon gig :D Altho I have no tickets yet.. :( lol

    Pre-Gig fan club meeting! :D what ya think? hehe

    Yeah I just checked too and all I could find is that 10:30 train. Damn. I'll keep checking it out.

    If you pick up a cab at the airport (i think it´s your best choice), you don't take more then 30/40 m, but it depends on the traffic, 7 pm it´s rush hour.
    The airport is in the city, it´s not far from the venue, so don´t worry.

    PJ won't be on before 10pm so don't worry ;)

    either by cab (straight from the airport) or by bus to the city center then taking the subway/train to the venue (about 1 hour)

    Do u guys know the place where it will be?i know it's in alges but where exactly?and any of you have idead how much capacity will have ?this suspense it's killing me...the tickets will go sold out very quickly.... arrrgghhh need 2 one for me and one for my girlfriend =) best regards tugas

    But it's a festival, so the capacity has to be bigger then Pavilhão Atlântico... I don't think it will sell out that quickly.
    But you never now... so whenever i hear some news i'll post them!

    maybe not :P Lisbon Soundz is normally in a really tiny space near the river, no more than 10000 there.
