Thank you, Wikipedia.

I just sent in my annual donation to Wikimedia- the folks who bring us Wikipedia. I remember when looking up information meant having to get on my bike and ride down to the library, search through the card files and find the right book with the right information and hope that by the time I got home I had written down everything I wanted to know. It could be argued that finding information that way is not a bad thing and I still support out local library and believe in bicycling but quite often I use the internet to find an answer when I want it more quickly. I'm also happy to not have to lug around a couple hundred pounds of Encyclopedia Britannica- though to tell you the truth I've never owned a set.

So I'm giving a little plug here for the Wiki folks who make looking up information so much easier:

I won't consider Wikipedia complete until I have my own page.
