greatest thing about boston 2 setlist

edited May 2006 in Given To Fly (live)
I saw the setlist on the soundboard , encore 2 had so many songs to choose from, one song not played was CANNIBAL, it was actually written on the setlist

    I'd rather be
    I'd rather be
I'd rather be with a CANNIBAL!
I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.

A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.

Do you remember any specific songs that were left off? I still can't believe that we haven't heard Last Exit yet (it was on the Toronto II setlist but not played)!

I can't believe Cannibal was on the setlist ... that is too damn funny. If it was in fact Animal that they writer thought was "Cannibal" that is absolutely brutal - it's on vs ... it's not like we are talking about a new song that the writer could have an excuse for not being familiar with.

i know for a fact that Breath was on the setlist...

i am still in a fog right now because i only got 2 hours of sleep and then i had to be at work. i'm sure my buddy or myself will post a scan of it eventually.

I enjoyed it quite nicely from the 2nd row.
Also spotted Mr. McCready in the wings checking out one of MMJ's songs, got a peace sign from him.
Beats beer at the Harp any day (especially since I don't drink ;) ).

I'm just happy they played Indifference. I know Leash was pretty much the highlight for just about everyone, but not for me. I was happy they played it, just as excited as everyone else, but Indifference means a lot to me.

    Oh man.. and Theo? Awesome.

My section was pretty lame. A lot of the idiots around me bought Ten Club tickets off the streets, so they just sat down and did drugs the whole time. A few of them were super wobbly and shaking, so they left early.
  • that's hilarious. i wonder if that reporter realizes the whole city is making fun of her.

She should put it on her resume:

    Personal achievements:

Spelled "cat" correctly in 3rd grade spelling bee.
Lost virginity in back seat of Ford Pinto.
Didn't know title of one of Pearl Jam's most popular songs and was ridiculed by the band and city of Boston for it.

You are so badly mistaken! She lost her virginity in the back seat of a Mercury Bobcat! :)
